Winemaker's Notes

This classic Washington Cabernet Sauvignon is a very complex wine that has great vineyard sites comprising the blend.  With all of the grapes harvested in late September through late October, the perfectly ripe fruit was balanced with near ideal acidity.  All components of this wine were fermented in stainless steel upright tanks with PDM yeast.  This wine has finished 100% malolactic fermentation then aged for 16 months in 3-year-old French Oak barrels.

Tasting Notes

Aromatic layers of dark plum, Bing Cherries, and a touch of cassis. Undertones of eucalyptus, mint, and other fine herbs round out the nose on this complex wine.  On the palate, these rich flavors of plum, Bing Cherries, raspberries and currants mesh with a touch of herb and spice and linger onto the medium finish. Very nice balance of fruit and structure, this is a classic Washington Cabernet Sauvignon
