With 2018 being a warm vintage with crisp, cool nights, the Viognier grapes came in with ripe fruit characteristics alongside a strong backbone of acidity in mid-September harvest date. The Viognier was fermented only in stainless steel upright fermenters with Elegance yeast to retain the freshness in this varietal. This is typical of our house style and neither oak nor malolactic fermentation were used.
