With 2019 being a warm vintage with crisp, cool nights, the Viognier grapes came in with ripe fruit characteristics alongside a strong backbone of acidity in mid-September harvest date. The Viognier was fermented only in stainless steel upright fermenters with Elegance yeast to retain the freshness in this varietal. This is typical of our house style and neither oak nor malolactic fermentation were used.

Aromas leap from the glass with bright and engaging notes of stone fruits, green apple, and honeydew with an intriguing touch of floral. On the palate, layers of depth and flavor are revealed. A mouthwatering core of ripe stone fruits and melon leads to an elegant finish with hints of banana and fresh flowers alongside a nice touch of mineral, balanced with bright acidity.
